Over on my Last post i showed u the 5.50 GEN-D3 Update, but this is the 5.50 Prometheus v6_BETA Update.
It has just been released to the Homebrew Community.It is the newest update for this CFW module.It has almost the same abilities as the previous update from different modules.
(To update this Prometheus v6 BEATA u must be running a 5.50 GEN D version)
The new advantages from this new Prometheus Update:
- Has the ability to let you play games for OFW 6.00 and higher.
-Fixed bugs from the last Prometheus Update

If you PSP system firmware is Prometheus CFW, it is necessary to any version of prometheus.prx join PSP_GAME \ SYSDIR, if it is not running, please upgrade to the latest Prometehus CFW

Do not really need prometheus.prx, just to inform prometheus CFW disabled prometheus_lite.prx. Otherwise, compatibility problems arise. Because the source code is lost CFW, prometheus cfw may have to wait until September to retrieve the source code update.’

Notes (from README.txt):

•If you use the KHBBS plugin remember to disable it before you use this program, otherwise it can’t write files in flash correctly.
•The program adds the Stargate.prx plugin string in first position in your GAME.txt (if it exists!). So other plugins (if present) will be saved from second position (you won’t loose them!).
•When you uninstall the MOD prometheus with the specific function of this program the GAME.txt file will be completely deleted. So you will loose all plugins enabled in GAME.
•The program does not recognize the CF version, for this reason it works in any Custom Firmware: be sure to use it ONLY in CF 5.00M33-6!

It will work on all PSP1000 models and 95% of the PSP2000’s models. Just be sure the the PSP2000 does not have a barcode that starts with AB02. The barcode can be found on the edge of the PSP, just below the LCD screen. The firmware version never matters with the Pandora battery.

If you have a bricked PSP3000, you are out of luck…Sorry. You will have to send it to Sony to have it unbricked. The Pandora battery will not work with the PSP3000 in any way.

A bricked PSP is a PSP that just has a green light and a black screen. It usually became bricked from a failed software update, like a battery falling out or other power loss. This is easily fixed!

PSP developer biscottealacrevette released a new version of Go!Tube, a YouTubestreaming application which is basiclly a clone of PSPtube but with some new features and more importantly, it works!. Changes in version 1.1 include the HightMemoryMod and added repository support to GoTube Updater.

Installation is easy, just make sure you place the GoTube.prs in the RADIOPLAYER folder of your memory stick and then place the GoTube folder in GAME. At first I couldn’t get this to work, but this was due to BubbleTunes Game Categories plug-in. You need to place the GoTube folder outside of any CAT_ folders (Uncatergorized)

One you have placed the folders, go to Internet Radio in your XMB and GoTube update, click the arrow logo to add the video site you want. It should download a 2kb file. Exit and then run GoTube, use Select to find YouTube for example and then hit O and enter a search term for YouTube, wait a few seconds and videos will appear for that search.

* Download XGen Updater for 5.50GEN-D
